Tusk Liquid for Excel and Word: Check what is market without leaving your model or memo.
Tusk Liquid is now an Excel and Word add-in. Query 15,000+ public credit agreements beside your model or memo, with every answer linked to the clause.

Tusk Liquid is now a Microsoft add-in for Excel and Word. It answers questions about more than 15,000 public credit agreements from a panel beside your model or memo, and links every answer to the clause it came from.
Tusk Liquid now works inside Microsoft Excel and Word.
Spell check moved inside the document a long time ago, which is why nobody leaves Word to find out how a word is spelled. Checking whether a credit term is market has never worked that way. The question comes up in the middle of a model or a memo, and the answer has always lived somewhere else, in agreements filed with the SEC that someone has to find, read and compare by hand.
Tusk Liquid is now available on Microsoft Marketplace as an add-in for Excel and Word, free to install, so that question can be asked in a panel next to the work itself. The answers come from CredCore's database of more than 15,000 public credit agreements, broken down into the terms that actually get negotiated: covenants, definitions, baskets, pricing, amendments and obligations.
Checking a Term in the Middle of a Model
Take a comp table for a borrower going to committee later in the week, where someone asks how its incremental facility compares with those of four peers. Answering it properly means leaving the model, pulling each peer's agreement and its amendments from public filings, and finding the incremental provision along with the definitions it leans on, which are rarely on the same page and are sometimes changed by an amendment filed two years later. Then the results have to be typed back into the spreadsheet, one cell at a time.
That is a morning of work for a single row, so it is understandable that under a deadline the row gets filled from memory, or the comparison is quietly dropped and the position goes to committee less tested than anyone would like. The memo has the same problem in Word, where a sentence calling a covenant package on-market is only as good as the comparison behind it, and that comparison usually happened in another window, if it happened at all.
How Tusk Liquid Works in Excel and Word
Once the add-in is installed, a CredCore button sits on the Home tab of Excel and Word and opens the Tusk Liquid panel beside the open file. Questions go in plain language: whether a provision sits below, at or above market, how a covenant package holds up against comparable deals, what changed across a borrower's amendments, or how its debt structure compares with its peers.
In Excel, ask for a benchmarked tearsheet on Levi Strauss and it builds in the spreadsheet, ready to go to an investment committee. In Word, IBM's debt structure can be compared against its peers without leaving the document being drafted. Every result carries a link to the exact agreement language behind it, so a figure can be checked before it goes into the model or the memo. The engine underneath is Tusk, CredCore's credit AI, which runs on a credit-native knowledge graph trained on $5 trillion of real credit data.
Rolling It Out Across a Team
An analyst can add it from the Home tab by opening Add-ins and searching for Tusk Liquid, and it runs in Excel and Word on Windows, on Mac and on the web. Firms that prefer to manage add-ins centrally can treat it like any other Office add-in: an administrator adds it in the Microsoft 365 admin center under Integrated apps and assigns it to users or groups, it appears in their Excel and Word within 24 hours, and updates arrive through Microsoft without anyone reinstalling anything.
Tusk Liquid is available to credit teams by invitation. Sign-up uses a firm email address, every request is reviewed within one business day, and each user gets 10 queries a day free. Tusk Liquid reads public credit agreements only, and its answers are read-only and informational, not legal, lending, investment or underwriting advice. The service holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001 certifications. For the deals inside a firm's own walls, its sibling Tusk Private points the same engine at that firm's documents.
Already Live in Claude and ChatGPT
By the way, for teams that do more of their thinking in a chat window, Tusk Liquid is already live in Claude and ChatGPT. Type "analyze all amendments for Hilton in the past seven years" into Claude and the analysis arrives in the same window in a minute, with follow-up questions answered in the same conversation. Developers can add the same connector to Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code at api.credcore.com/liquid-mcp/mcp.
Because the check now happens in the same file where the number is used, it no longer has to wait for a free morning, and fewer positions go to committee on memory alone.
