System requirements

Supported Office versions: Microsoft Excel & Word 2016 or later; Excel & Word for the web (Microsoft 365); Excel & Word for Mac (Microsoft 365).

Other requirements:

  • Active internet connection and a valid, activated CredCore account.

  • Windows 10 or later, macOS 12 or later, or a supported modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox).

  • Windows desktop: the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Evergreen Runtime must be installed (it ships with current Microsoft 365; a missing or outdated runtime is the most common cause of a blank task pane).

  • Network access: your firewall or proxy must allow HTTPS (port 443) traffic to liquid-addin.credcore.com (add-in static assets and interface), api.credcore.com (backend API for queries and data), and liquid.credcore.com (web application, account access, sign-in, deep links).

Installation

Install from the store: Open Microsoft Excel or Word → Home tab → Add-ins → search for “Tusk Liquid” or “CredCore” → Add. (On older versions, use Insert → Get Add-ins.) Once installed, the CredCore button appears on the Home tab; click it to open the Tusk Liquid panel and sign in with your CredCore account.

Admin deployment (Microsoft 365 admin center): Sign in to the admin center → Settings → Integrated apps → Get apps (or Upload custom apps) → search for “Tusk Liquid” or upload the manifest provided by CredCore → assign to the desired users or groups. The add-in appears automatically in users’ Excel and Word within 24 hours. For the data-processing terms that apply to organization-wide deployments, see the CredCore Terms & Conditions and any executed MSA, or contact legal@credcore.com.

Sign in: Click the CredCore button on the Home ribbon. The Tusk Liquid panel opens and displays a sign-in prompt. Enter your CredCore account email and password. If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), you may be redirected to your identity provider.

Troubleshooting

The panel is not loading or shows a blank screen

  • Verify your internet connection is active.

  • Confirm the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Evergreen Runtime is installed and up to date (Windows desktop).

  • Confirm liquid-addin.credcore.com and api.credcore.com aren’t blocked by your firewall, proxy, or VPN.

  • On Excel/Word for the web, clear browser cache and cookies, then reload.

  • On desktop, fully close Excel/Word, reopen, and try again.

  • Check that your Office version meets the minimum (Excel/Word 2016+).

  • If it persists, email mcp-support@credcore.com with your Office version and a screenshot.

“Unable to connect” or network errors

  • Confirm your firewall allows HTTPS traffic to liquid-addin.credcore.com, api.credcore.com, and liquid.credcore.com (port 443).

  • If on a VPN, verify it doesn’t block or reroute traffic to these domains.

  • Test by opening liquid.credcore.com directly in a browser — if this fails, the issue is network-level.

  • Contact your IT administrator to whitelist the required domains.

The CredCore button is missing from the ribbon

  • Go to Home → Add-ins → See all (older versions: Insert → My Add-ins) and verify Tusk Liquid is listed.

  • If listed but not on the ribbon, remove and re-add the add-in.

  • If not listed, your administrator may not have deployed it — contact your IT team.

  • On Mac, try restarting the Office application.

Sign-in or authentication failures

  • Verify your CredCore account is active by signing in at liquid.credcore.com.

  • If your password expired or was reset, update it on the CredCore website first.

  • Clear cookies for credcore.com in your browser (Excel/Word for the web).

  • If your organization uses SSO, confirm your identity provider is reachable and contact your IT administrator to verify the SSO configuration.

The add-in is slow or unresponsive

  • Check your internet speed — a stable connection of at least 1 Mbps is recommended.

  • Close other resource-intensive add-ins or browser tabs.

  • With a very large spreadsheet, try selecting a smaller range before querying.

  • Restart the Office application and reopen the file.

Data not appearing or incorrect results

  • Confirm you’re signed into the correct CredCore account with access to the relevant credit-agreement data.

  • Verify your account has the necessary permissions; contact your CredCore administrator if unsure.

  • Remember that responses are AI-generated and must be independently verified (see About AI responses).

  • Refresh the panel by closing and reopening it.

  • If results appear incorrect, email mcp-support@credcore.com with the query used and the unexpected output.

Updates

The Tusk Liquid add-in is updated automatically through Microsoft AppSource. No manual action is required; updates apply the next time you open Excel or Word. Current version: see the panel’s About screen.

Uninstall

Open Excel or Word → Home → Add-ins → See all (older versions: Insert → My Add-ins) → right-click Tusk Liquid → Remove. If the add-in was deployed by your administrator, contact your IT team to have it removed from your account.

Accessibility

Tusk Liquid runs inside Microsoft Excel and Word and is used through the Office task pane. If you use assistive technologies and encounter a barrier using the add-in, email mcp-support@credcore.com describing the issue and your setup, and we will work with you to provide the information or assistance you need.

Security incident reporting

If you suspect a security vulnerability, unauthorized access, or a data breach involving the Tusk Liquid add-in or your CredCore account, report it immediately: email security@credcore.com with “SECURITY” in the subject line, including a description of the incident, the time it occurred, and any relevant evidence. Security reports are treated as our highest priority and handled as quickly as possible.

Report a bug

To help us diagnose issues quickly, include: a clear description and steps to reproduce; your Office application and version (e.g., Excel 2021 on Windows 11, or Excel for the web on Chrome); your operating system and version; screenshots or recordings; any error messages in the Tusk Liquid panel; and the time the issue occurred.
